Job Scope
- Review and analyse system specifications, user stories, and test plans to develop test cases for testing mobile and web apps.
- Execute test cases manually or using automated testing tools.
- Analyse test results and report bugs to developers.
- Work with developers to report bugs and verify fixes.
- Participate in regression testing to ensure that fixed bugs do not re-occur.
- Conduct usability testing to ensure that the apps are user-friendly and easy to navigate.
- Perform performance testing to ensure that the apps can handle expected workloads.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, understand use cases, and contribute towards increasing release quality.
- Stay up to date on the latest testing technologies and trends.
Job Requirements
- 1-2+ years of experience as a quality assurance engineer/tester.
- Experience with testing mobile and web apps with different types of mobile devices and operating systems.
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools and techniques is a plus point.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism with a positive attitude.
- Be excited about collaborating and communicating design ideas with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model.
